SUSTAINABLE USER-ORIENTED HOUSING FOR THE ELDERLY

The Serbian Architectural Journal (SAJ) invites researchers, educators, and professionals to contribute to a special issue focused on sustainable and user-oriented housing for the elderly.

As Europe faces an aging population and increasing pressure for sustainable development, this issue explores how user-centered design, systems thinking, and agile development can transform housing solutions for older adults. Contributions will address ecological, social, and economic aspects of sustainable housing through design innovation and pedagogical advancement.

This issue is part of the Erasmus+ “sUser” project, which connects universities from Finland, Austria, the Netherlands, and Serbia in redefining education and design strategies for elderly care housing.
